What to Expect
Our Recruiting Process
We want our interview process to be transparent and fair. Here's exactly what happens from the career fair to offer, so you know what to prepare for.

For Internships & Full-Time Roles
- Career Fair or Referral | Meet our team at Rice, Georgia Tech, or UW or get referred by someone you know. We’ll have a quick technical conversation with you to evaluate your skill level.
- Initial Technical Interview | Code review and problem-solving discussion with an ExtraHop engineer
- Technical + Behavioral Interview | Deeper technical conversation + team fit discussion
- Engineering Manager Review | Your interviewers present their feedback; hiring manager makes final decision
- Offer | Typically within a month of final interview, depending on timing of the campus career fair
- Both internships and full-time roles are located in Seattle, WA
- Our internships typically begin mid-May and continue for up to three months
- Start dates for full-time roles occur in August of the year following the campus recruiting event
