At the helm of the new Asia-Pacific operations is Danny Smolders, who joins ExtraHop as vice president of APAC following his successful tenure as director of sales for APAC at Riverbed. The opening of ExtraHop offices in Singapore represents the first step in an aggressive expansion plan to meet demand for sophisticated IT intelligence solutions in the region.
Since securing a $41 million Series C funding in May 2014, ExtraHop has demonstrated strong and consistent growth in North America and Europe. During that time, the company has expanded in Canada and the United Kingdom and opened operations in Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium. The company has also grown significantly, doubling in size in 2015 to over 320 employees worldwide. Over the next 12 months, the company expects its APAC operations to grow exponentially in a handful of key geographies.
