SEATTLE – April 4, 2023 – ExtraHop, the leader in cloud-native network detection and response (NDR), today announced that it will be participating in the first-ever CrowdStrike Government Summit on Tuesday, April 11 in Washington, D.C.
At the event, Mark Bowling, Chief Risk, Security, and Information Security Officer at ExtraHop, will participate in a panel discussion, “Leading in 2023: The Essentials of a Good Cyber Resiliency Program.” The panel will advise agencies on how to ensure their missions stay on course in the event of a cyberattack, outsource cybersecurity workforces, and implement a zero-trust cybersecurity model.
Bowling, a former private sector CISO and a former cybersecurity professional at the FBI and the U.S. Department of Education, will be joined by Tom Etheridge, Chief Global Professional Services Officer at CrowdStrike; Jeff King, Deputy CIO of the U.S. Department of Treasury; and Russell Marsh, Director of Cybersecurity Operations at the National Nuclear Security Administration. The panel takes place at 10:45 a.m. ET on April 11.
“Government agencies now face an unprecedented number of sophisticated cyberthreats, and the summit aims to prepare them for these challenges,” Bowling said. “As agencies modernize their IT infrastructures and collect more digital data, it’s more important than ever to be prepared for complex and unrelenting cyberattacks.”
CrowdStrike’s inaugural Government Summit will bring together government and cybersecurity leaders for a day of in-person networking and learning. ExtraHop is a diamond sponsor of the CrowdStrike Government Summit.
