The organisation decided to deploy the ExtraHop Reveal(x) platform to secure their workforce against external threats and potential data leakage, as well as eliminate blind spots with complete coverage in their hybrid environment. As part of a proof of concept, they reviewed solutions that could offer web security, ongoing monitoring of unregulated services, and the strengthening of security system verification.
ExtraHop Reveal(x) was selected based on its ability to combine the power of cloud intelligence with the simplicity of SaaS to help NCSoft's security teams eliminate blind spots and detect threats other tools miss. Built on cloud-scale AI, ExtraHop Reveal(x) decrypts and analyzes all network and cloud traffic in real time to expose advanced threats like supply chain attacks, zero days, and APTs. Indexed records and a streamlined investigation workflow enable users to investigate and quickly remediate threat activity.
ExtraHop's cloud intelligence feature functionality will reinforce NCSoft's high-capacity performance and resolve real-time security analysis requirements for employees to continue to create the best gaming experiences for their players. ExtraHop provides broad and in-depth behavior analysis by parsing more than 70 protocols. The combination of system verification, real-time decryption of encrypted traffic to eliminate blind spots, and real-time detection will further support NCSoft's cybersecurity posture.
