Thomas Smith is a Solutions Architect at ExtraHop. Fascinated with all things technology since early childhood and in need of constant stimulation Thomas was terrible at boring jobs. This short attention span led to him having a background as a web developer, ranch cowboy and horse trainer, bartender, gymnastics and martial arts coach, manufacturing IT professional, and data storage engineer. As a Solutions Architect, Thomas' day job includes working with every part of enterprise technology: writing ExtraHop API integrations in Python and JS, teaching advanced ExtraHop skills to information security teams, application mapping and forensics, and tracking down issues that always seem to be DNS. Thomas lives in the woods on a mountain in North Georgia with his wife and daughter.
