Community interactions, often via forums, social media, etc., are a thing. They're a thing that most of us rely on, to varying degrees, every day. Whether you're choosing the appropriate solution to meet your multi-tenant, cross-tier, partially cloud based applicaton's specific needs, deciding where to go for happy hour, or picking a qualified dog walker to tend to Poopsy's dietary restrictions, you're likely going to consult others.
You're going to check to see what other people tried in the past. You're going to be curious what their experiences were. Did they have a similar problem to solve? If so, how did they do it? Did it go well? What would they have changed? How would they do it differently next time? Would they choose a different product/restaurant/service? And roughly a million questions beyond.
Why do we do this? We do it because there are few things more comforting, reassuring and powerful than hearing directly from others. Others that have been there before, done what you're trying to do, climbed the mountains you're gearing up to climb. Getting advice from those that have walked the path before you is a sure fire way to get a leg up and ensure that you're heading the right direction.Okay, so that's a lot of chattering on about community and interaction. Why the jag today, you ask? Because, dear friends, I am very pleased to announce that today is NEW FORUMS DAY!!!!111. cough
That is to say, ExtraHop has released our new community forums. So. Much. Excite. We've got all new software, a much improved look and feel, new, easier to use categories, and a list of new functionality longer than Treebeard reciting War and Peace*.
If you're curious about what we're up to, what's coming up next, have questions, concerns, technical issues or otherwise, jump on the forums and give us a shout. Best of all? I am already seeing interaction from all over the company. Getting direct access to internal resources from sales to marketing to PM and the engineering teams responsible for building this wicked cool platform is killer. These forums are your ticket to exactly that access.
So go check them out, sign up, and let us know what you're up to, and if we can help. We'd love to hear your story and get to know you. We'd also love to hear about your IT journey. We may not be able to help with Poopsy, but chances are we can work together to figure out new ways to harness the power of data in motion to make you even more of a rockstar than you already are. Come on, let's build something.
*Note: Nothing is actually that long.
