The world’s best-run IT organizations use ExtraHop to analyze billions of transactions per day
The implementation of the ExtraHop 2000 and 5000 systems by the Alaska Airlines IT team has demonstrated how an industry leader can achieve previously unattainable levels of IT performance and reliability. With the ExtraHop system, Alaska Airlines IT team can continue to outperform and achieve operational excellence.
Axstores worked with RADPOINT to deploy the ExtraHop system in their test environment. “I was impressed with the application performance visibility that the ExtraHop system provided out of the box,” says Pörn. “We could immediately see all the devices present on the network and their dependencies, as well as the impact of core network services such as LDAP and DNS on application performance.”
To optimize the database and caching tiers of its application, Concur worked with ExtraHop to implement memcache analysis. The ExtraHop system provides real-time transaction analysis at wire speed—up to a sustained 10Gbps—that covers the network, web, database, and storage tiers of the application.
Working with local solutions provider Bedroc, MedSolutions implemented the ExtraHop system in their two datacenters. “Implementing the ExtraHop appliances was a breeze,” says Steele. “Unlike agent-based APM tools, the ExtraHop system did not require us to change our systems, schedule downtime while installing software, or add any overhead to our servers or network.”
Seeking greater visibility into application health and performance, the Network team at Murphy USA launched a three-month product evaluation of more than 25 vendors. Murphy USA chose ExtraHop based on its noninvasive deployment, ease of use, and superior analysis capabilities.
While evaluating different monitoring solutions, an online brokerage deployed ExtraHop in its test environment. An all-in-one appliance, the ExtraHop platform installed in 15 minutes and started passively analyzing transactions as they traversed the network, extracting real-time operational intelligence from all tiers of the application delivery chain.
Deploying the ExtraHop system was as simple as installing the appliance and registering certificates for SSL decryption. A unique advantage of the ExtraHop system is that it does not store packets that can contain personal health information. “We manage more than 50 million patient records,” says Hluboky. “It’s incredibly important that ExtraHop can monitor all our traffic—even the encrypted traffic—and do it without any potential privacy violations.”
